Workout Day 18

I don't particularly enjoy running on a treadmill. In fact, when I ran back to my apartment after my workout the world was spinning and everything was so bouncy. I guess my point is that I would prefer to run outside but when it is 100+ in Fresno everyday I have no choice. By the way, what do those who run find easier: running on a treadmill or outside?

Activity: Treadmill Walking
Time: 10 minutes
Incline: 10
Distance: .5 mile
Speed: 3.0

Activity: Treadmill Running
Time: 12 minutes
Distance: 1.15 miles
Speed: 5.8

Activity: Crunches 30
Activity: Pushups 5

Total Distance: 1.65 miles

Outside, outside, outside! Though I use the treadmill as speed training. I will also run on it if my knees are sore as it is a little more forgiving.

When I was training I would sometimes have to run EARLY in the morning before it got too hot here. My problem is going to be that my training for the Eugene Marathon is going to be during the winter here...We are consistently at 4 degree mornings...BRRRRR!

You're doing awesome! I am so inconsistent that I can't seem to improve. Running is definitely not me forte` so I think I'll stick to the stairmaster.

I HATE running on treadmills. I have to have a change of scenery. I've tried watching tv on a treadmill and it just made me sick. so good luck with the poopy treadmill running!

OUTSIDE!!! I hate running on treadmills, they are so BLASTED boring!!! My advice to you is don't run outside because once you do you will never want to get on a treadmill again.
